The Shift Supervisor position at Braum's plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant during assigned shifts. This leadership role involves executing the company’s brand strategy while promoting Braum’s core values, mission, and vision to create an outstanding customer experience and maximize sales. Shift Supervisors are responsible for leading and coaching the store crew, helping to develop their skills and foster a positive work environment. They actively oversee restaurant operations including food service, grocery market, and fountain sales, ensuring consistent adherence to quality standards and safety protocols to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The Shift Supervisor is also charged with managing inventory and supply levels, monitoring kitchen equipment for optimum functioning, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift.

This position requires a hands-on leader who can adapt to varying store conditions and team dynamics, capable of effective communication with both the leadership team and employees. Being organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined to follow through on tasks and procedures are essential to the success of this role. The Shift Supervisor not only supports operational goals but also helps build a cohesive team environment based on trust and mutual respect. This role reports directly to the Assistant Manager and follows a rotating three-week work schedule, averaging 45 hours per week, which includes early shifts starting at 5:30 a.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m. Braum's is looking for individuals with prior retail or food service experience who are motivated to engage with customers and staff in a positive, energetic manner. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 1 year of retail or supervisory experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including early mornings
  • Commitment to uphold company policies and customer service standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members
  • Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality
  • Oversee the shift operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
  • Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
  • Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
