We are currently seeking to hire a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store during assigned shifts, stepping in as the person in charge in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, or as directed by them. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing and supervising team members, and ensuring that all products—whether Auntie Anne's pretzels, Cinnabon pastries, Jamba Juice beverages, or Carvel ice cream—are prepared to the highest standards. This position requires a hands-on leader who can not only perform essential preparation and presentation tasks but also maintain store cleanliness, manage equipment, and uphold company policies related to food safety and operational procedures.

Job Requirements
- prolonged or stationary standing, walking, squatting, bending, and repetitive hand/arm motions such as rolling or dipping pretzels or Cinnabon
- ability to lift 50+ pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced, highly stressed environment when dealing with point-of-sale system, guests, and staff
- work with agility
- occasional long hours within state and federal applicable laws
- minimum age to operate oven is 16 years old
- minimum age to operate mixer is 18 years old
- reliable transportation
- current ServSafe certification or must pass within 30 days of employment
- food handler permit as required by local laws
- compliance with all local Health Department requirements
Job Qualifications
- must be 18 years old or older
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in retail management, food service industry, or equivalent retail experience
- current food handler certification or ability to obtain certification within the first 30 days
- basic math and reading skills including simple addition, multiplication, and subtraction
- ability to use and operate a calculator accurately
- attention to detail
- ability to develop leadership and coaching skills
- strong guest focus with excellent people skills including a positive can-do attitude and a teachable spirit
- availability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- compliance with all health and sanitation laws and regulations
- experience in computers, smartphones, iPads, retail handhelds, and POS systems preferred
- general knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred but not required
Job Duties
- perform all team member’s responsibilities such as preparing dough and other Jamba Juice products
- prepare Jamba Juice beverage and products
- insert, rotate, and remove pretzel/Cinnabon trays
- monitor ovens for correct baking time and product color
- prepare drinks and bag orders using appropriate health and safety measures
- direct and coordinate the activities of team members
- coordinate their meal breaks and breaks per state and federal law
- maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
- contact the Store Manager or Assistant Manager in the event of call-offs or no-shows and recommend a solution to secure a replacement
- monitor product quality and adherence to proper operating procedures
- ensure guest service and a positive guest experience
- address, respond to, and resolve guests’ needs, questions, and complaints
- assure all opening/closing procedures are performed, including daily and scheduled maintenance and cleaning
- responsible for store funds during assigned shift including access to bottom safe and shift drawers
- run register reports and complete Daily Cash Reports and hourly reading sheets
- follow all cash management and register policies
- comply with all company policies and relevant federal and state regulations
