Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift over 50 pounds for up to 10 hours with breaks
- Ability to tolerate temperature fluctuations and a noisy kitchen environment
- Ability to work with hazardous substances such as hot oil
- Read, write, speak, and understand basic English
- Adherence to company policies and city, state, and federal laws
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules
Job Qualifications
- One or more years of fast casual restaurant management experience
- Qualifying certificate in food protection for NYC locations
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Basic computer skills including cash register operation
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of company policies and local regulations
- Ability to function in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Support the general manager and assistant general manager
- Manage restaurant operations efficiently within company policies and guidelines
- Ensure guest satisfaction and profit maximization
- Provide hands-on support for all employee positions including cashier, lobby, prep, grill, fries, and opening and closing duties
- Lead and motivate a high performing work team
- Maintain compliance with food safety and city, state, and federal regulations
- Manage variable schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
