The Shift Leader position at Cici's Pizza is a crucial role responsible for guiding the restaurant's team toward achieving operational and financial goals. The role demands rigorous attention to daily cash handling procedures, completion of opening and closing checklists, and adherence to cleanliness checklists that uphold Cici's esteemed hygiene standards. Shift Leaders are also tasked with addressing customer service issues promptly and coordinating effectively with management to resolve complaints.

The role extends to active participation in local marketing initiatives and scheduled team meetings, thereby contributing to the overall growth and community presence of the restaurant. Candidates should bring a positive, motivating attitude coupled with strong communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicts efficiently. To succeed as a Shift Leader at Cici's, candidates must be prepared to work a minimum of 25 hours per week with a flexible schedule that accommodates the operational needs of the restaurant. Physical stamina is important, as the role requires standing and walking for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A basic understanding of POS systems is necessary to manage transactions smoothly.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred qualifications include 6 to 12 months of experience in a related position along with ServSafe certification. Valid state-issued driver’s license and reliable transportation are also required, as the role may involve travel between multiple restaurant locations. The ability to become Food Safety Certified and proficiency in basic Microsoft Word and Excel are additional competencies that will benefit the candidate in this role.
