The Shift Leader role is an integral position within our restaurant operations, acting as the driving force behind each shift's success. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily restaurant functions during your assigned shifts and act as the key manager in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager. You will be responsible for leading your team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain operational standards, and uphold our company’s quality, service, and cleanliness benchmarks. This is a dynamic leadership role that combines hands-on team management with operational oversight, requiring strong organizational skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to motivate and support team members.

In this role, you will coordinate crew tasks such as setup, food preparation, and cleaning, ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. You will manage restaurant opening and closing procedures, implement security protocols, and handle inventory control and food deliveries. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards is a top priority, along with maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding service speed and quality metrics.

The Shift Leader also plays a crucial role in training and supporting team members on new products and operational procedures, fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will manage cash registers, verify orders, oversee company funds, and perform cash audits, all while consulting with area leadership to ensure proper operational procedures are followed. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified on all EPL SPECS positions or 1+ year of restaurant supervisory experience
  • Pass EPL Food Safety Audit class after hire
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage cash and conduct audits
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Customer service oriented

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
