The role of Shift Lead at Mo' Bettahs is an integral leadership position responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient shift operations while performing duties similar to those of Team Members. Shift Leads play a crucial role in the restaurant's daily success, especially in the absence of General Managers or Managers in Training, as they take on leadership duties to maintain high operational standards. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing customer interactions, product preparation, team coordination, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness. Shift Leads help foster a positive team environment by guiding team members towards delivering fast, accurate service, and an excellent customer experience.

Shift Leads are also responsible for enforcing company policies and standards across all operational aspects including food quality, safety, and workplace safety procedures. They serve as role models, demonstrating exceptional customer service and effective problem-solving skills while supporting team members and addressing customer concerns professionally. This position demands flexibility, the ability to remain calm under pressure, strong communication, and leadership skills.
