This job opening is for the role of a Team Member with a focus on supporting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in running great shifts in an independent yet collaborative manner. The role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent customer satisfaction by executing the Manager-In-Charge (MIC) Success Routine, managing people, serving customers to the highest standards, and maintaining exemplary service throughout each shift.

Team Members are expected to lead by example, maintaining neat and clean appearances, wearing the company uniform, and prioritizing customer needs. Responsibilities include ensuring food safety, order accuracy, and quickly resolving any customer complaints to preserve positive relations. The role demands a cooperative attitude, positivity, and active participation in teamwork, helping peers and contributing to a thriving work atmosphere.

Attendance and punctuality are emphasized as essential for operational success, with adherence to scheduled hours and proper time keeping. Team Members are encouraged to take initiative and maintain high energy levels, going beyond basic requirements to support the restaurant’s goals. A significant aspect of the position also involves developing people by providing feedback, engaging in training activities, handling conflicts constructively, and assisting the RGM in managing labor and inventory.

This role also includes ownership responsibilities such as cash control, security procedures, product preparation, facility maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The position requires physical stamina to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and stooping during most of the shift. The company typically schedules employees for 30 or more hours per week, with the possibility of variations based on business needs.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction
  • Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs and stooping during 90 percent of shift time

Job Duties

  • Support the RGM by running great shifts in a self-sufficient manner
  • Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems and seek help when appropriate
  • Provide help and guidance to others
  • Execute the MIC Success Routine and complete responsibilities under People, Customers and Service
  • Ensure Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for assigned positions
  • Maintain neat, clean appearance and wear company uniform
  • Prioritize customer needs and ensure food safety, quality and order accuracy
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relations
  • Greet customers politely and work with urgency
  • Cooperate with peers and demonstrate positive attitude
  • Understand and adhere to posted work schedule, arrive on time and in uniform
  • Use approved timekeeping system accurately
  • Take initiative and maintain high activity levels
  • Provide regular feedback on Team Members performance
  • Participate in training and handle conflicts constructively
  • Assist with cash control, inventory, labor management and facility maintenance
  • Perform additional duties as required by manager
