The Shift Lead role at Flynn Fitness is a pivotal position reporting directly to the General Manager. This leadership role entails supervising coworkers during their shifts, ensuring that performance standards, safety protocols, and company policies are consistently upheld. The Shift Lead is tasked with maintaining operational excellence by organizing work schedules, delegating duties effectively, and monitoring team members' attendance, punctuality, and overall engagement. This role also requires the ability to train new staff and provide continuous support and performance feedback to ensure consistent quality and safety standards.
Physical demands are an important consideration for this role, as the Shift Lead must be able to stand for extended periods, walk frequently throughout the facility, and occasionally lift items up to 75 pounds. The job also involves tasks that require reaching, bending, and kneeling, particularly in relation to stocking and cleaning duties. Working in a busy, noisy fitness environment is part of the everyday reality, and Shift Leads must be prepared to maintain focus and composure in this setting.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
