This resort is distinguished by its distinct summer and winter seasons, providing a variety of recreational opportunities and activities that cater to outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Snowbird’s commitment to excellence extends beyond its natural beauty; it is also dedicated to creating a supportive and exceptional working environment for its employees. The resort values individuals who share a passion for the mountains and the outdoors, encouraging a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous growth. Snowbird offers full-time, part-time, and seasonal employment opportunities, ensuring that staff members can find positions that best fit their schedules and lifestyles. Employees benefit from an inclusive and dynamic workplace where diversity of thought, background, race, sexual orientation, gender, and belief is celebrated, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance and mutual respect that aligns with the resort’s equal opportunity employment policies.

The Bartender position at Snowbird’s Forklift Restaurant, located in the Snowbird Center, is a part-time role designed for those with previous bartender experience who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. As a bartender, you will be responsible for serving high-quality alcoholic beverages with consistency and care, ensuring that every guest’s experience exceeds expectations. This role demands an individual who can skillfully prepare and serve drinks, manage financial transactions accurately, and adhere strictly to state alcohol laws and regulations. You will be expected to maintain cleanliness and organization at your station, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and informing guests about specials and menu changes, and employ suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue. This position requires availability during mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and candidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment that occasionally includes high business volumes and the unique challenges presented by winter conditions and mountain commuting. Beyond technical skills, Snowbird seeks bartenders who possess excellent interpersonal abilities, organizational skills, and the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and carry trays efficiently.

Joining Snowbird as a bartender offers more than just a job; it presents a gateway to a rewarding career embedded in a vibrant community surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains. Employees enjoy numerous benefits such as free Snowbird ski passes, discounts across various resort services including eateries, retail shops, and lodging, as well as access to company transportation and a 401k plan. Snowbird also fosters an environment where employee health, safety, and professional standards are paramount, with strict adherence to drug and alcohol policies and a commitment to maintaining a positive work culture. If you are someone who thrives in an active, customer-focused role and desires to be part of a respected resort known for excellence and community values, the bartender position at Snowbird’s Forklift Restaurant is an exceptional opportunity to elevate your career while embracing the outdoor lifestyle you love.
