Job Description

Sewell BMW of the Permian Basin, part of the renowned Sewell Family of Companies, is a respected name in automotive retail known for its commitment to exceptional service and integrity. As a luxury vehicle dealership specializing in BMW models, Sewell BMW of the Permian Basin offers a premium customer experience that goes beyond just selling cars—it focuses on building lasting relationships with clients through superior service, expert knowledge, and personalized attention. The dealership operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, catering to a diverse clientele who expect excellence at every touchpoint. Sewell’s corporate culture promotes growth, teamwork, and respect, making it an attractive workplace for individuals who aspire to develop their careers in the automotive industry.

The full-time Service Valet position at Sewell BMW of the Permian Basin is an entry-level role ideal for responsible, active, and energetic candidates eager to contribute to a high-caliber service team. The role involves a variety of hands-on tasks such as valeting vehicles, accepting tow-ins, maintaining cleanliness in service and shop areas, assisting technicians, and test driving vehicles. These duties require excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, safe driving abilities, and a strong commitment to customer service. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth workflow within the service department, providing valuable support to technicians and enhancing the overall guest experience.

The Service Valet works closely with multiple facets of the dealership’s service team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in both indoor and outdoor environments. This includes keeping service areas free of dirt, water, leaves, and snow, which contributes to an inviting and professional atmosphere for both customers and staff. Additionally, Service Valets assist with tracking important vehicle details such as the customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and any pre-existing damage, ensuring accurate documentation and accountability.

In addition to core responsibilities, the role involves providing exceptional guest service by safely transporting customers to their homes or places of business and delivering vehicles to guests as needed. Communication skills are essential, as Service Valets frequently use radios or similar devices to coordinate with dealership team members efficiently. The role’s schedule typically runs from Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with flexible options and occasional Saturdays, making it suitable for individuals seeking steady, full-time employment with a reputable company.

Employees in this role benefit from Sewell’s commitment to professional development and wellbeing through comprehensive benefits packages available after a provisional period. These include medical, vision, and dental insurance, supplemental insurances, 401K retirement plans, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities. Sewell’s inclusive and equal employment opportunity policies foster a supportive workplace where diversity is respected, and career advancement is based on merit and potential rather than discriminatory factors. This environment empowers employees to learn, grow, and thrive while being part of a distinguished company dedicated to quality and service excellence.
