We are currently seeking a highly motivated Service Porter to join our team at Castle Rock Ford, one of our affiliated dealerships. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our service department, focusing on the efficient transport of vehicles and the upkeep of the service areas. The Service Porter position is vital as it serves as a link between customer satisfaction and dealership operational efficiency. The primary responsibilities include picking up and delivering customer vehicles safely, shuttling guests around the facility, and maneuvering vehicles between the service drive, service bays, and parking areas. The role demands a strong attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service department, assisting service advisors, and handling routine errands and safety protocols.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for safely driving customer vehicles from their home or work to the dealership
  • driving the vehicle back to the guest when its completed
  • safely driving and parking customer vehicles from service drives, service bays, and parking lots
  • detail vehicles
  • assist service advisors in making key tags for incoming vehicles
  • maintain overall cleanliness of the service department
  • remove old scrap parts from the shop
  • daily clean oil storage tanks, drains, and dispose of oil filters, etc.
  • run errands as directed by department management
  • follow established safety protocols
  • report any shop equipment in improper working condition
  • immediately report safety incidents
  • attentively greet customers and address service needs or requests when entering service department
  • complete daily tasks as directed
