The Service Porter role at Foundation Automotive is an essential position within the service department team. This role is designed for a dependable and customer-focused individual who will support the service team by efficiently managing vehicle movement, from the service drive into the service bays and back, maintaining a clean and organized service area, and ensuring every customer vehicle receives respectful and careful handling. Service Porters act as the frontline ambassadors in the service drive, greeting customers with friendliness and professionalism, facilitating vehicle check-in processes, and assisting service advisors and technicians with various tasks as needed. Additionally, the Service Porter is responsible for maintaining protective vehicle covers, washing and vacuuming vehicles after service completion, and supporting customer transportation needs through shuttle services or alternate arrangements.

Job Duties
- Greet customers in the service drive and assist with vehicle check-in
- drive customer vehicles into and out of the service bays as directed by service advisors and technicians
- maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service drive and service lane
- place protective covers such as seat covers and floor mats on customer vehicles to prevent damage
- wash and vacuum customer vehicles upon service completion as needed
- shuttle customers to and from the dealership or arrange alternate transportation as needed
- assist service advisors and technicians with tasks as requested
- ensure keys are properly tagged and organized throughout the service process
- maintain service department common areas, parking areas, and loaner fleet in a clean and orderly manner
- follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
