Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain that is revolutionizing the fast-food industry by focusing on fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients and sustainable business practices. Established with the mission to serve high-quality food while cultivating a better world, Chipotle operates over a thousand restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. What sets Chipotle apart is its commitment to Food With Integrity, a philosophy that emphasizes serving real food made from wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. This philosophy not only reflects in the food but also in the company’s dedication to transparency, community support, and environmentally friendly initiatives. Chipotle is well known for its innovative approach to fast food, blending quick service with food quality, and fostering a strong culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion among its team members. The company believes in providing opportunities for career growth, digital advancement, and comprehensive employee benefits that contribute to the overall well-being of its workforce. The Service Leader role at Chipotle is an exciting opportunity to be a part of this fast-growing, values-driven organization. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a seamless customer experience by ensuring the service line is clean, organized, and functioning properly, while supporting crew members through training and leadership. Service Leaders are actively involved in food preparation standards, food safety compliance, and customer incident resolution, making sure every guest receives great-tasting, high-quality food in a timely manner. Additionally, this role requires hands-on leadership that encourages team collaboration during busy periods and self-motivated task management during quieter times. The Service Leader also contributes to key operational support, including managing break schedules, assisting with performance reviews, and handling office administration duties such as cash handling, banking, and inventory management. This role demands someone who understands and lives by Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, possesses knowledge of food safety standards and cash handling, and maintains a positive and professional attitude in frontline restaurant operations. The Service Leader position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while fostering a supportive team culture. Employment at Chipotle generally includes competitive compensation with a base pay range from $17.45 to $19.40 per hour, along with eligibility for digital tips and access to a robust benefits package.
