The Service Leader role at Chipotle is a pivotal position within the restaurant team. Job Requirements

  • be knowledgeable about cash handling policies and procedures
  • be knowledgeable about food safety and health department matters
  • be familiar with office paperwork
  • be able to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location

Job Duties

  • make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • help to resolve food quality issues
  • support food safety including hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and ensuring food safety checklists are completed
  • help to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
  • monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • develop and cross train front of house crew
  • assist with crew performance reviews
  • develop future service leaders
  • assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and paperwork
  • ensure office equipment functions properly and supplies are ordered
  • maintain proper supply levels
