Job Requirements
- Must be able to work days nights weekends and holidays
- the employee is frequently required to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
- the employee is routinely required to stand for long periods of time
- must be available evenings holidays and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- TABC certification
- Food Handlers Certification
- previous customer service and or food and beverage service preferred not required
- menu knowledge food and beverage knowledge specific to the restaurant
- service standards specific to the restaurant
Job Duties
- Practice the three steps of service warm welcome friendly compliance and fond farewell
- knowing and understanding all food menu items
- general beverage knowledge
- presenting menus suggesting dishes and communicating specific customer needs including allergies and special modifiers to the kitchen
- make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
- upsell food and beverage items using suggestive selling techniques
- maintain a high-level dining experience at all times while keeping in mind we are family serving family
