The Server role is vital to the operational success of our restaurant. As a Server, you will be the frontline ambassador of our hospitality, responsible for delivering exceptional service that ensures guests enjoy a memorable meal. This full-time position demands a proactive and energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works collaboratively with kitchen and wait staff to maintain smooth, efficient service flow. Your core responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, providing detailed descriptions and recommendations including wine pairings, and efficiently managing orders using the Micros POS system. You will consistently monitor guest satisfaction by checking in throughout their meal and swiftly addressing any concerns to maintain the highest service standards. This role goes beyond basic serving duties, requiring a dedication to going above and beyond to accommodate guests' needs and preferences.

Servers also work closely with hosts and back servers to coordinate seating, pre-bussing, resetting tables, and maintaining an organized service area. The ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a customer-first attitude is essential. Additionally, you will assist with phone orders and to-go requests, contributing to a seamless guest experience from all angles. Our servers never say no to guests, exemplifying a can-do approach and creative problem-solving to ensure satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to learn a new craft and acclimate to a fun culture
  • TIPs certification in CT, NY, MA, VA, or FL markets
  • ABC certification in TN market
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Strong customer-service skills with an above and beyond attitude
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a confined space

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to learn a new craft and acclimate to a fun culture
  • Basic English reading and communication skills
  • Understanding of Micros POS system and order processing
  • Solid knowledge of menu and restaurant culture
  • Avid team player

Job Duties

  • Direct guests to their seats and present the menu
  • Present the guest with recommendations, including wine pairings
  • Work with the back server to ensure all of the guest's needs are met
  • Ring in all orders into Micros and process payments
  • Check identification to ensure that guests meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain tables through pre-bussing, marking and clearing with correct procedure
  • Check with guests regularly to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
  • Attend to every need of the guest
  • Reset tables with plates, napkins, glasses and silverware prior to service/seating
  • Set up food stations to prepare for the next shift or for large parties
  • Assist host by answering phones to take call-aheads or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests
  • Work diligently in order to achieve outstanding service quality
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment
