The current employment opportunity is for full-time and part-time Dining Room Servers/Wait Staff at Belmont Village La Jolla. This role is focused on delivering an exceptional dining experience for residents and their guests within its Independent and Assisted Living community. As a Dining Room Server, you will be integral in creating a welcoming atmosphere as you provide attentive, personalized table service during meals and special events. Unlike traditional tipped positions, this is a non-tipped role that offers a steady and reliable schedule with a consistent customer base, providing stability and career longevity. - Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
- Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
Job Duties
- Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
- Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
- Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
