Job Requirements
- At least 1 year experience as a server preferred
- Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift regularly
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to talk and hear effectively
Job Qualifications
- Entry level position
- 1 year related experience preferred
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, vendors and co-workers
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Familiarity with cooking techniques preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain the highest quality and consistent customer service
- Follow all company procedures
- Respond proactively to customer complaints
- Maintain professionalism and friendliness towards guests and staff
- Report directly to the General Manager
- Prepare tables, including laying out napkins and utensils and refilling condiments
- Stay updated on current menu choices and communicate any menu deviations with kitchen staff
- Direct customers to their tables and present menus
- Suggest dishes and assist in drink selections
- Inform customers about food preparation details and communicate special requests to kitchen staff
- Deliver ordered items and fulfill customer needs
- Perform suggestive selling
- Remove courses and replenish utensils and glasses
- Issue checks promptly and return change and receipts
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed
- Assist with special events
- Greet all guests warmly
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
- Convey basic cooking technique information to guests
- Report safety hazards and employee accidents
- Maintain knowledge of food safety policies
- Maintain urgency on the service floor
- Manage service areas and side work duties
- Complete all other duties as assigned
