Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Must be legally allowed to work in the United States
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Ability to follow food safety and health regulations
- Ability to check valid ID for liquor service
- Dependable and punctual with attendance
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- Ability to read write and speak English fluently to read analyze and interpret regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for hospitality tourist attractions and guest service excellence
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to be solutions oriented
- Ability to perform essential functions and use a computerized point of sale system
- Ability to stand for more than three hours at a time
- Ability to de-escalate be organized and handle busy operations
- Dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including required overtime evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 25 or more pounds
- Basic math skills
Job Duties
- Deliver a warm and welcoming experience to every guest providing attentive and exceptional service throughout their visit
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menu items including curated cocktails and confidently make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
- Work as banquet/catering server for private events promotional/consumer events and meetings
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of all banquet/catered events
- Adhere to all food safety and health practices
- Comply with Washington State liquor laws including valid ID checks
- Take orders accurately and efficiently ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are accommodated
- Collaborate closely with bussers food runners and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Address guest concerns or feedback proactively going above and beyond to exceed expectations and resolve issues swiftly
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
