Job Description
Kisco Senior Living is a dynamic and award-winning leader in the senior living industry with over 30 years of experience. The company is dedicated to creating a great place to live for its residents and a great place to work for its associates, maintaining a strong reputation for exemplary customer service and hospitality. Kisco Senior Living operates with a strong commitment to quality, care, and respect, ensuring that residents enjoy a comfortable, supportive, and engaging environment. The company fosters a supportive work culture that values both personal and professional growth, making it a respected employer in the senior living sector.
The role of Server at Woodland Terrace offers part-time employment with open availability, requiring candidates to be available until 7pm. This position is centered on providing exceptional dining service to residents and guests within a senior living community. Servers are expected to perform all dining steps of service in a friendly and professional manner, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the daily menu and assisting residents with their requests. Additionally, servers play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and escorting residents in all dining venues, maintaining clean dining spaces, and ensuring proper table settings throughout their shifts.
This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for excellence and a great moral compass, with a preference for candidates who have completed high school and possess 6 months to 1 year of dining experience, reflecting the importance of prior customer service skills within a dining environment. The company values employees who can actively contribute to a positive dining experience that enhances the quality of life for senior residents. Kisco Senior Living emphasizes teamwork, respect, and professionalism, making every shift an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' daily lives.
The compensation package for this position includes a competitive hourly wage of $17, offered with no tips, as well as paid vacation, a 401K plan, and a free meal with each shift worked. While full-time employees receive additional benefits such as matching 401K contributions and outstanding healthcare coverage, part-time employees also benefit from a rewarding work environment with opportunities for recognition and growth. The company further demonstrates its commitment to employee well-being by covering the costs associated with pre-employment requirements including drug screening, job-specific physical, TB test, and background checks.
Joining Kisco Senior Living as a Server provides a unique opportunity to engage with and support older adults in a meaningful way while developing valuable hospitality and customer service skills. The position demands a friendly demeanor, the ability to multitask in a lively environment, and the dedication to uphold high standards of service. For those passionate about hospitality and senior care, this role combines the rewards of serving a valued community with comprehensive benefits and career growth potential within a respected industry leader.
