The Server role at Red Lobster is integral to the guest experience, providing frontline hospitality that shapes the impression of every visit. As a Server, you will be the face of Red Lobster, welcoming guests with a genuine smile and delivering attentive service throughout their dining experience. Responsibilities include suggesting drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the meal, taking accurate food and drink orders and entering them into the POS system, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. You will maintain contact with guests to check on their satisfaction, offer refills, clear tables, and present the check efficiently and courteously, inviting guests to return. A critical aspect of the role involves adhering to all food safety standards to maintain the highest levels of hygiene and compliance.

The physical demands of the Server role require the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds. Servers must be able to move freely throughout the restaurant and stand for extended periods, typically between 8 to 12 hours per shift. Teamwork is essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties

  • Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile when they are seated
  • Suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • Accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS system properly
  • Picking up and delivering food orders in a timely manner
  • Checking back with guests throughout the experience to provide refills as needed and clearing any items from the table
  • Delivering and settling the check in a timely manner, thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Following all food safety standards
