Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for the duration of a shift
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate loads typically up to 35 pounds such as trays, glass racks, and supplies
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Frequent interaction with guests and staff including clear verbal communication
  • California Food Handler Card required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • California Responsible Beverage Service certification required within 60 days of hire

  • Good working knowledge of California wines and craft cocktails with ability to make recommendations and pairings
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, elevated bistro environment with genuine passion for food, beverage, and hospitality
  • POS experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and serve guests warmly and professionally throughout the dining experience
  • Guide guests through the menu offering food and beverage recommendations and pairings
  • Take accurate orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and to standard anticipating guest needs
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate to management when necessary
  • Serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with California ABC laws and RBS requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements and report concerns to management
