Job Description
Pacific Catch, Inc. is a renowned restaurant company committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience through first-class service and incredible hospitality. With a strong emphasis on cultivating a family-oriented atmosphere, Pacific Catch continuously strives to attract, nurture, and retain individuals who embody the company's Core Values, Hospitality Standards, and Team Member Standards. This dedication to excellence is evident in all interactions with guests and fellow team members, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow both personally and professionally.
As a part of the Pacific Catch family, team members experience a fun and inclusive work culture that celebrates diversity and encourages development. The company believes that the true success of its restaurants and brand lies in the quality, dedication, and passion of its people. Embracing this philosophy, Pacific Catch offers opportunities for advancement, ongoing training, and a supportive environment that nurtures talent and rewards exceptional performance.
The Server role at Pacific Catch is integral to maintaining the high standards of guest service that set the restaurant apart. Servers act as the frontline representatives who interact closely with guests, ensuring that each visit is memorable through attentive service and genuine hospitality. This part-time, hourly position reports directly to the General Manager and requires flexibility with scheduling, including mandatory weekend availability. Compensation for the role is competitive, with a rate of $18.70 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to valuing and appreciating its team members.
Servers at Pacific Catch are responsible for creating an inviting and pleasant dining atmosphere by presenting drink menus, making recommendations, and accurately answering any questions guests may have about the menu. They skillfully take orders, serve food and beverages promptly, and regularly check in with guests to guarantee satisfaction. This includes the important task of upselling when appropriate, which not only enhances the guest experience but also supports the restaurant’s revenue goals.
Efficiency and accuracy are crucial components of the role. Servers must promptly record all drink and food orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle guest payments responsibly, and manage correct change as needed. Attentiveness continues throughout the meal, as servers are expected to maintain their guests' tables by clearing items such as chopstick wrappers, soiled napkins, glasses, dishes, and silverware. The physical demands of the job require standing and moving continually for extended periods, as well as bending, stooping, and lifting items weighing up to 35 pounds.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy fostering meaningful guest relationships, and have a passion for delivering top-tier customer service. Whether you are seeking to build upon prior restaurant experience or looking for a welcoming workplace that values your contributions, the Server position at Pacific Catch offers a rewarding platform to advance your hospitality career in a supportive and engaging setting.
