Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a customer service or food service role preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic math skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- legal authorization to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred
- culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling practices
- excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for order entry and payment processing
- ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience
- basic math skills for accurate cash handling and payment processing
- previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, including serving, bussing, or host/host roles
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
- serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation
- monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly
- process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- assist with hosting duties as needed, including managing reservations through OpenTable
- adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations
