Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude
- Must be physically active and capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as after a fall
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at an 8th-grade level or higher
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Experience in a hospitality or senior care environment is beneficial but not required
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall support
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area
- Prepare tables for service including salads and rolling silverware
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness by sweeping floors and tidying the dining space
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff regarding residents' dietary habits and any unusual changes
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking as needed
- Monitor resident attendance and report absences from meals
- Foster a friendly and engaging atmosphere to help residents connect and enjoy their meals
