Job Description
Arrow Senior Living is a prominent senior living management company that oversees a collection of communities offering a variety of care options including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. With 25 properties spread across five states — Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana — the company employs nearly 1,400 dedicated staff members committed to enhancing the quality of life for their residents. Arrow Senior Living is known for fostering a warm, home-like environment not only for its residents but also for its employees, which has resulted in strong employee retention and satisfaction. The company’s core values emphasize respect, integrity, compassion, and dedication to service, impacting every aspect of resident care and team member engagement. These values encourage a culture of growth, support, and appreciation within the organization.\n\nArrow Senior Living is currently seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join their team at Vitalia Senior Residences in Westlake, Ohio, as a Server. This part-time position offers a competitive starting wage ranging from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour and follows a shift schedule from 12 pm to 7:30 pm, Monday through Sunday. The location is at 26695 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake, Ohio 44145. Joining this team means becoming part of a supportive community that values employee development and promotes from within. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working directly with senior residents and want to contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience.\n\nThe Server role at Vitalia Senior Residences is multi-faceted, involving both host responsibilities and preparation duties to ensure a smooth and pleasant meal service. As a Server, you will be the 'Host with the Most,' greeting residents warmly, making them feel welcome, and fostering an environment for social connection and enjoyment. You will also be the 'Peppy Prepper,' preparing tables, salads, and rolling silverware to ensure the dining room is fully set for service. Additionally, being the 'Titan of Tidiness' involves bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment, which plays a crucial part in the overall resident experience.\n\nVitalia and Arrow Senior Living prioritize the well-being of their employees by offering numerous benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance (effective 1st of the month following 60 days of employment for full-time staff), a company match 401(k) plan with 100% match up to the first 3%, disability and life insurance, and paid time off accrual for both full-time and part-time employees. The company also provides educational support through tuition reimbursement after 90 days of employment for both full-time and part-time staff, a daily pay option, employee referral programs, and complimentary meals during shifts. Weekly employee recognition programs reinforce a positive and motivating workplace culture. Lastly, Arrow Senior Living celebrates diversity and inclusivity by serving and employing individuals regardless of faith, race, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or handicap, strictly adhering to state and federal laws. This position is ideal for someone who loves engaging with seniors, has a positive and energetic attitude, and enjoys working in an active environment that involves walking, bending, and assisting residents with mobility tasks as needed. This Server role is perfect for individuals seeking to make a meaningful difference in a caring community while growing their career within a company known for its commitment to its people and residents.
