Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with at least 8th grade proficiency
- positive and energetic attitude
- ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
- criminal background clearance
Job Qualifications
- at least 16 years of age
- able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- positive and energetic attitude
- ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for entire shift
- ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus but not required
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- greet residents and make them feel welcome
- be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect
- prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware
- bus tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
- assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall
- ensure a successful and smooth meal service
- uphold tidiness and contribute to a home-like community atmosphere
