This community is carefully designed to cater to the unique lifestyle needs of seniors, offering 94 units that include Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Care Suites. As part of the Ebenezer organization, Amira Choice of Plymouth stands out for its commitment to healing, educating, and supporting residents towards longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives. The community is staffed by an exceptional team of caregivers who believe deeply in this mission, fostering a warm, respectful, and engaging environment for residents. With a focus on excellence and personalized care, Amira Choice delivers a blend of comfort, safety, and compassion that addresses the varied needs of senior citizens in a vibrant suburban setting. This facility embodies the values of dignity and independence while providing the necessary supportive care options for those who require assistance.

The Server/Culinary Assistant role at Amira Choice of Plymouth is integral to the dining services team, directly impacting residents' daily experiences by ensuring that meals are served efficiently and that the dining environments are welcoming and clean. This position is tailored to support the Assisted Living community, performing essential duties that contribute to resident satisfaction and wellness through attentive meal service and kitchen support. Operating on a part-time schedule of approximately 30 hours every two weeks, the role involves day and early evening shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations, making it suitable for candidates seeking flexible work within a compassionate care setting.

The responsibilities of this role are diverse and hands-on, including serving meals to residents, maintaining supply stocks in kitchenettes, and implementing proper safety and sanitation standards. The Server/Culinary Assistant is expected to follow detailed meal service schedules, offer meal choices, accommodate dietary restrictions, and use electronic menu (EMenu) systems as part of a restaurant-style dining service. The focus on resident interaction is strong, requiring positive communication, listening skills, and responsiveness to complaints or requests. Operational excellence through thorough cleaning procedures and dishwashing protocols is also critical to maintain a high level of hygiene and ambiance in the dining areas.

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.77 to $25.66 per hour, reflecting the candidate's qualifications, experience, and alignment with internal pay equity standards. As a member of Ebenezer, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off (PTO), sick leave, tuition reimbursement, retirement plans, and more.
