Job Requirements
- Minimum education required: English reading, writing and communication
- Basic math skills
- Minimum six months serving experience
- Must be capable of standing or walking for up to eight hours per shift
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Age minimum 19 years
- Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate (can be acquired with employer’s help)

Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and answer questions about menu items, specials, and ingredients
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and deliver them in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor tables to ensure guests have everything they need, clear used dishes, and reset tables for new guests
- ID guests in accordance to Idaho state liquor and identification laws
- Monitor guest intoxication and take action or get help if necessary
- Present checks, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions accurately
- Responsible for daily point of sale reconciliation
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Vacuum, mop and sweep the restaurant area
- Maintain a positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude toward guests and coworkers
- Work as part of the team by assisting, communicating, and proactively troubleshooting problems
- Stay busy during slow times and keep up on side work
