Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a premier destination for families seeking quality food, engaging entertainment, and memorable experiences. The company’s commitment to creating fun, safe, and welcoming environments is demonstrated through innovative programs like Kid Check® and significant community support, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The brand is dedicated to fostering joy and lasting memories, celebrating over half a million birthdays annually and championing the idea that "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®." In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the “Best in STEM” award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, showcasing its leadership in both innovation and employee well-being.
As a family-oriented entertainment company, CEC Entertainment values diversity, inclusion, and culture by embracing fun and play to connect families and communities. The company offers a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan for eligible employees, as well as job training and career development opportunities. It also offers a “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program, providing employees with faster access to earned wages.
The Server position at Chuck E. Cheese is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career within a dynamic and fun-filled environment. Servers are empowered to provide exceptional guest service by delivering food and creating a positive dining experience. This role offers competitive pay with commission potentials that vary based on employment classification—ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership sold, and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold for exempt employees, and $2.00 to $8.00 per membership plus $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass for non-exempt employees. Commissions are paid bi-weekly unless state laws require otherwise.
Beyond competitive pay, Servers enjoy a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling to accommodate personal needs, and access to scholarships and perks programs. Additionally, employees can benefit from the employee referral program and the CEC Cares Fund, which supports team members during unforeseen catastrophes.
The job demands physical capabilities including the ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and to frequently stand, bend, kneel, reach, push or pull, walk, and squat. The role requires handling job stress effectively while interacting professionally with guests and co-workers in a bustling environment characterized by loud noises, flashing lights, and moving mechanical parts. Safety and health are top priorities at Chuck E. Cheese, with rigorous health and sanitation standards upheld to protect both employees and guests. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Candidates for the Server position should be at least 15 years old, possess excellent customer service skills, demonstrate an energetic and enthusiastic personality, and be available to work various shifts. This position serves as a gateway into the company's culture of growth, with over 60% of managerial staff promoted from within, highlighting CEC Entertainment’s commitment to career advancement and employee development.
