Job Requirements
- Minimum age 16
- ability to read and understand English
- ability to speak, understand, and write English
- must obtain Food Handler Card as required by state or county regulations
- ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- must follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of experience in server, cashier, line cook, or customer service role
- ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- proficiency in English language
- valid State or County Food Handler Card required within allowed time
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after taking orders
- greet guests upon arrival and thank guests when leaving
- maintain a clean dining room, patio, and parking lot
- work the drive-thru window and phone orders
- package, check, and deliver accurate orders
- ensure accuracy of all orders delivered to guests
- maintain stock and cleanliness of work areas
- operate cash register and process payments
- report sales and cash discrepancies to manager
- follow cash handling policies
- protect product safety and food safety standards
- notify management of food safety risks
- attend food safety training
- follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- notify manager of guest accidents or injuries
- protect company assets
- practice safe work habits
- read and understand safety data sheets
