The Server - Beer and Wine position at Cinemark is a vital role that directly impacts the guest experience by guiding patrons in ordering food and beverages, particularly alcoholic options like beer and wine. Job Requirements

  • Proof of age
  • Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification or food handler permit
  • Completion of safe alcohol service training program
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
  • Excellent guest service
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Interpersonal skills including effective communication in English
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Ability to take direction
  • Responsiveness with a sense of urgency

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
  • Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including cash balance and ticket distribution
  • Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for alcohol transactions
  • Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
  • Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
  • Consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
  • Properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing tasks
  • Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
  • Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
