The Server Assistant position at The BLVD within Beverly Wilshire is a part-time role designed to support the Food Server team in delivering impeccable service. This position plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by attending promptly to guests’ needs and assisting with various service tasks. The Server Assistant must excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism and adherence to Four Seasons’ high standards. Reporting directly to The BLVD General Manager, this role offers the opportunity to be part of a renowned luxury hospitality team and contribute to the outstanding service experience that Four Seasons is known for.

In this position, the Server Assistant will be responsible for setting and clearing tables, greeting guests, providing water and bread service, stocking necessary supplies, and assisting in the preparation of simple food items. The role demands excellent multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. A flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends and different shifts are essential.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year experience in hospitality or related field
  • ability to carry and balance a tray
  • strong communication skills in English

  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • ability to carry and balance a tray
  • ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with kitchen and servers
  • high analytical and organizational skills
  • proficiency in speaking, writing and reading English
  • flexible schedule with the ability to work different shifts and some weekends

Job Duties

  • Clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner
  • greet guests, provide water, bread and butter service according to Four Seasons standards to ensure superior service
  • anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • stock linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service
  • assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
  • breakdown, clean and set-up buffets and food stations
  • comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
