Job Description
Trilogy at Tehaleh is a premier resort-lifestyle community located in Bonney Lake, Washington, just a picturesque drive south from Seattle. It offers a private community club experience with the Seven Summits Lodge nestled amidst protected forest preserves and the majestic backdrop of Mount Rainier. This club provides its discerning members with multiple amenities including areas dedicated to dining, relaxation, fitness, and games. As part of the well-regarded BlueStar Resort & Golf, Trilogy at Tehaleh blends natural beauty with top-tier recreational and hospitality services that create a unique and enjoyable environment for both residents and guests alike.
The full-time Server Assistant role at Seven Summits Lodge within Trilogy at Tehaleh involves supporting the dining room staff to ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and exceptional hospitality. This position offers an hourly pay rate of $17.13 and includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and life insurance eligibility after 60 days of full-time employment, paid time off accrual, seven paid holidays annually, and participation in a 401(k) plan after 30 days of service. The Server Assistant works under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Supervisor and plays a critical part in maintaining a welcoming and efficient dining atmosphere.
The Server Assistant creates a positive guest experience by providing knowledgeable, enthusiastic assistance about the facilities and services offered at the resort. They greet guests energetically, communicate effectively with the servers, and support them by clearing and resetting tables, transporting dirty dishes, and occasionally assisting with carrying trays. In addition to these tasks, the Server Assistant must be vigilant in noticing and reporting any potential safety or cleanliness issues as well as customer concerns, helping to uphold high standards of service and safety.
Ideal candidates for this role display a strong customer orientation and the ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities. Teamwork is crucial, as is alignment with the BlueStar core values including honesty, integrity, respect for individuals, teamwork, and competitive spirit. The Server Assistant must be self-motivated, able to work independently with little supervision, and capable of making sound decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential, as is a flexible schedule including availability to work evenings and weekends.
This role typically operates indoors within the restaurant setting but may occasionally require working outdoors or at events under various weather conditions. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, carrying trays with food or dishes weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lifting or moving items up to 30 pounds. The environment may be lively and sometimes loud, so the ability to focus and maintain high service standards despite distractions is important.
Overall, this position offers an exciting opportunity to join a respected hospitality team in a scenic and vibrant resort community. The Server Assistant plays an essential role in delivering excellent guest service and contributing to the memorable experience that defines Trilogy at Tehaleh and BlueStar Resort & Golf as premier destinations for recreation and leisure.
