The position of Busser/Attendant/Server Assistant is integral to providing a clean and welcoming dining environment, essential for delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role involves working closely with bar, lounge, and restaurant staff to ensure all dining areas remain neat, tables are efficiently cleared and reset, and guest needs are promptly met with courteous service. The employee will typically receive daily assignments in varied service areas, including the bar or private party spaces, maintaining versatility and adaptability in their duties.
Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting servers during peak times and large parties, clearing and cleaning tables, resetting dining spaces, and supporting overall restaurant operations. Emphasizing teamwork and communication, this role demands a proactive approach in responding to guest requests and collaborating effectively with servers and hosts to optimize seating and service flow.
The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience in upscale restaurant settings, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently multitask in fast-paced environments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a team-oriented attitude and the physical capability to stand or move for extended periods, perform lifting tasks, and tolerate varying temperature and noise conditions within the hospitality setting.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
- excellent attention to detail
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- team player with positive attitude
- physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull objects up to 100 pounds, and move throughout the hotel using proper ergonomic techniques
- willingness to comply with legal standards and alcohol service guidelines
- available to work flexible schedules including shifts that vary based on business needs

Job Duties
- Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift
- promptly greet guests and bring water to table
- remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
- clear tables after guests and properly sort tableware for washing
- promptly clean and reset tables, chairs, and booths between seatings
- respond to guest requests and communicate as needed to servers and hosts
- assist servers during food delivery especially for large parties and peak periods
