Job Requirements
- 1-year customer service experience in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays availability
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client-driven environment
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral English proficiency
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to take direction and provide constructive feedback
- Ability to work effectively in close proximity with others
- Strong sense of responsibility for safety and compliance
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions
Job Qualifications
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Ability to apply common sense and understand instructions in any form
- Ability to work closely with others comfortably while multitasking in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Work with team members to promptly and professionally run food and drinks, clear tables, and accommodate guests’ needs
- Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all areas of the building including dining room, bars, coffee shop, patios, kitchen, server alley, guest restrooms, and Teaching Kitchen
- Strive for an exceptional level of guest satisfaction by responding to each guest’s individual needs in a timely manner
- Clear and reset tables and assist with all aspects of guest service including service of water, coffee, and other beverages as needed
- Promote a warm and friendly atmosphere among team members and guests
- Provide the highest standards of service consistent with the overall expectations of Ginger and Baker
- Actively participate in communicating with coworkers and managers during shifts
- Knowledge of menu items to answer questions and make recommendations
- Comply with Ginger and Baker policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
- Share the history and offer tours of Ginger and Baker when possible
- Maintain good personal hygiene and perform all sanitary requirements
- Protect safety of self, team members, and guests
- Report incidents and safety hazards promptly
- Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures
- Operate equipment safely to prevent injury
