The Server Assistant role at the Adobe Clubhouse is an opportunity for enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to contribute to the smooth operation of dining service. Under general supervision, the Server Assistant partners closely with servers to enhance the efficiency and quality of food and beverage delivery, ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service. This role is integral to maintaining the club's reputation for excellence by supporting the workflow between the kitchen and the dining area, helping to set tables, restock supplies, and attend to guests' needs throughout their meals.

Job Requirements

Pursuing a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Previous restaurant experience desired
Ability to use employee self-service on company human resources/payroll database
Must have a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts if assigned
Unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications
Must meet age requirements to handle and serve alcoholic beverages
Regular attendance is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple competing tasks
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Ability to lift and/or move between 25 and 50 pounds
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Adherence to safety and hygiene guidelines

Job Qualifications

Pursuing a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Previous restaurant experience desired
Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
Possess strong interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service should be friendly approachable and attentive
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration ability to collaborate with kitchen staff servers and other restaurant staff
Strong communication skills including effective listening
Highly organized to manage multiple tables
Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow menu items staff etc
Ability to remain calm during peak hours or challenging guests or members
Demonstrated working knowledge of food handling regulations
Ability to use employee self-service on company human resources/payroll database

Job Duties

Set up tables with appropriate utensils napkins condiments etc before guests are seated
Provide friendly and attentive service to guests answering questions or notifying the Server or management with any concerns guests may have
During meal service provide attentive service to assigned tables removing used dishes filling water etc
Clean tables including removing used dishes glasses and utensils from tables after guests have finished their meals
Sweep under the tables as well as the general restaurant areas
Wipe down tables and chairs to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
Restock items such as napkins condiments etc as needed throughout shift
Provide assistance to Server by bringing them additional items they may need for their tables
Assist Server as needed with food delivery especially with large parties and during peak periods
May be scheduled to assist in setting up banquet tables service food or other tasks related to events
Participate in pre-shift meetings taste tests and training
Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment
Follow good personal hygiene guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
