Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior kitchen or food preparation experience
- ability to stand for long periods
- flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- ability to follow instructions carefully
- good physical stamina
- friendly and cooperative attitude
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a prep cook is preferred
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- strong organizational skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- experience in customer service is a plus
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- knowledge of basic kitchen safety and hygiene practices
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and prep lists accurately
- prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, and portioning
- assist with basic cooking and kitchen tasks as needed
- keep kitchen stocked, clean, and organized
- support line cooks during busy service times
- provide friendly and pleasant service at tables
- perform side work including dusting, cleaning sections, and restocking to-go items
- break down work areas and clean them properly
- polish and roll all silverware at the end of shifts
