The Server position at Arrow Senior Living’s Holliday Farms community is a fulfilling full-time role designed for individuals who thrive in engaging, people-centered environments. With a competitive pay range of $18 to $20.50 per hour, this position offers weekday and Sunday day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, based in Zionsville, IN. The role is integral in delivering an outstanding dining experience to senior residents by combining hospitality, efficiency, and attentiveness. Servers are known affectionately by their unique titles that reflect their responsibilities: from the "Host with the Most," who welcomes and entertains residents, to the "Peppy Prepper," who ensures the dining environment is meticulously prepared for meal services. They also act as "Titan of Tidiness," keeping the dining area clean and welcoming, and serve as an "Appetite Anthropologist," monitoring residents’ eating habits and communicating any concerns to supervisors and wellness staff.
This position is much more than serving food; it is about building meaningful connections with residents, creating a warm atmosphere, and contributing to the overall community’s well-being. Physical activity is a key component of this role, including standing, walking, bending, and assisting residents with mobility when needed. Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- basic English proficiency equivalent to 8th grade
- positive attitude and willingness to engage with residents
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- capacity to assist residents with mobility and post-fall support
- successful criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade level
- positive and energetic attitude
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- be present in the dining room and engage with residents
- prepare tables, salads, and silverware for meal service
- bus tables and maintain cleanliness
- communicate observations about residents' dietary habits and appetite changes to supervisors and wellness staff
- assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
- foster an environment where residents can connect and feel comfortable
