This opportunity is perfect for those with at least one year of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting, who possess excellent communication skills and the physical stamina to stand for long durations and lift up to 25 pounds. In this role, you will become a true ambassador of the Culinary Dropout brand, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the menu to make thoughtful recommendations and personalizing the guest experience. You will maintain a clean and organized dining environment, treating each table with care and attention as if it were your own home. Success in this position requires the ability to effectively use POS systems and digital reservation platforms such as OpenTable, respond calmly under pressure, and adapt quickly to on-the-fly requests, ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant operations. Availability to work weekends, some holidays, and fill in as needed is essential to meet the dynamic needs of the restaurant.
