The Server position at Restaura offers an opportunity to be an integral part of this innovative hospitality team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional dining experiences through attentive, courteous, and efficient service. The Server is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by accurately taking orders, promptly serving meals and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Working closely with the kitchen and bar staff, the Server ensures a seamless service flow while supporting a clean, organized, and guest-centered dining atmosphere. This hourly position offers a competitive wage and is structured without tips, promoting a fair and consistent compensation model.
As a Server, you will greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items and daily specials to enhance the dining experience. Your role will involve taking precise food and beverage orders, entering them into the POS system, and serving meals and beverages in a professional and timely manner. Anticipating guest needs and promptly responding to ensure satisfaction throughout the dining experience is essential. Effective communication with kitchen and bar teams is crucial to maintain accuracy and efficiency in order delivery. Moreover, you will maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, side stations, and service zones while adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines along with company service standards.
Handling payments, processing cash or credit transactions, and balancing checks at the end of shifts are critical components of this role. Supporting teammates with table setup, clearing, and restocking as needed fosters a collaborative team environment. Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a server or in a guest service role preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- knowledge of food wine and beverage service standards a plus
- must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- flexible schedule availability including nights weekends and holidays
