With over 400 communities worldwide, Sheraton offers a unique and welcoming environment where employees and guests alike experience a deep sense of belonging. Sheraton's mission is to be "The gathering place of the world," creating vibrant spaces for connection, meaningful experiences, and exceptional service. The brand’s global footprint allows team members to thrive in diverse cultural settings and develop their careers with a renowned industry leader committed to inclusion, equity, and opportunity for all. Sheraton values a workplace culture that celebrates diversity, fosters teamwork, and encourages personal and professional growth while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
This part-time, non-management Food and Beverage Service Expert role is based at Sheraton Denver Downtown, located at 1550 Court Pl, Denver, Colorado. This position is essential to delivering a memorable and unique guest experience beyond simply serving food and beverages. The role requires a proactive team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative to provide comprehensive guest services that elevate the entire dining experience. Responsibilities include setting tables, coordinating with the kitchen, engaging with guests, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in work and storage areas, all while ensuring adherence to company procedures and hospitality standards.
Working in this role demands physical stamina and mobility, as employees are frequently on their feet, walking long periods, navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, and performing various physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds without assistance. The Service Expert must also display professionalism in their appearance, communication, and uniform, contributing positively to the Sheraton brand image. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.57, with eligibility for tips, making it a rewarding opportunity for individuals seeking to develop their hospitality skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. Preferred availability includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the diverse schedules of Sheraton’s guests.
As a member of Sheraton’s global family, employees gain access to a wide array of benefits designed to support their well-being, career growth, and work-life balance. The company promotes a safe and inclusive workplace and encourages applications from individuals with varied backgrounds and experiences. This role is excellent for those passionate about creating impactful guest interactions, fostering community through service, and advancing within the thriving hotel industry. Joining Sheraton means becoming part of a legacy of excellence and a global network dedicated to exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction.
