Ascent Hospitality is currently seeking a highly qualified Server to join their team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of guest service that the company is known for. The Server will be responsible for welcoming and seating guests comfortably, serving food and beverages efficiently, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience. This position includes following a structured daily schedule, performing proper setup and cleaning tasks within the restaurant, and consistently delivering top-notch guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a passion for service, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a dynamic hospitality environment.
The Server role entails a wide range of responsibilities focused not only on serving guests but also collaborating effectively with other team members and management. Job Requirements
- Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English above a basic level, to effectively communicate with Team Members and Guests
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance upholding Company appearance standards at all times
- Must be able to apply commonsense understanding, in carrying out instructions
- Must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including holidays
- Must be able to work without constant supervision
- Must be able to work well as a part of a team
- Must be engaging with all guest throughout meal periods

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months customer service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days if not certified
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus
Job Duties
- Greet all guest with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area
- Maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times
- Assist with seating guests as needed (in the absence of the hostess)
- Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel & restaurant guest & staff
- Serve food and beverage in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
- Adhere to all Brand Standards regarding Food and Beverage and Service
- Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant
- Assist with clearing and set-up of tables
- Assist with restocking of supplies as needed
- Communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members
- Use Point of Sale (POS) system as required
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/ manager
- Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/ manager
