Job Description
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a well-established, high-volume full-service restaurant known for its laid-back atmosphere, quirky vibe, and exceptional customer experience. The restaurant prides itself on offering delicious and creative burgers, famously referred to as "burgers beyond yumagination," alongside bottomless world-famous steak fries. Red Robin focuses heavily on fostering a sense of belonging where diversity and inclusion are highly valued. This welcoming environment drives the brand's commitment to serving up connection, fun, and generosity, creating memorable dining experiences for guests every day. The company has a clear mission: Make it fresh. Make it fun. Make it memorable. And above all, make 'em smile. Red Robin is more than just a dining destination; it’s a vibrant community where team members enjoy great growth opportunities, with many managers having started as hourly team members themselves.
The role of Server at Red Robin involves being an essential part of the Front of House service team. Servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. This includes taking orders using handheld technology, serving food and drinks efficiently and accurately, and maintaining a friendly and engaging demeanor throughout the service. Servers at Red Robin are not only expected to be attentive and prompt but also to contribute to the overall fun and lively atmosphere that defines the Red Robin brand. The position is hourly with a base pay range of $2.13 per hour plus tips, offering substantial earning potential through gratuities. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy fast-paced environments, and have a natural ability to connect with guests.
In addition to a competitive pay structure that includes tips, the Server position comes with several appealing benefits. Flexible work schedules make it easier for team members to balance personal and professional responsibilities. Employees enjoy a 50% discount on Red Robin food and a 25% discount for their family members, encouraging team bonding over meals. Referral bonuses are offered to incentivize bringing new talent into the team, highlighting the company’s commitment to growth and community. There are also multiple compensation and benefit programs available, such as participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Program after one year with 20+ hours per week, and comprehensive health insurance that includes vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage for employees aged 18 and over. Red Robin also offers a 401k retirement plan with a company match of up to 4% for eligible employees who are 21 or older with at least one year of service and 1,000+ hours worked annually. Paid time off is accrued at a rate of 0.0192 hours for every hour worked, available after more than one year of service and a 35+ hour work week. Red Robin seeks passionate individuals who want to grow their career in a dynamic, fun, and supportive environment, making this a great opportunity for those interested in hospitality and restaurant management careers.
