Job Description
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a high-volume, full-service restaurant chain known for its laid-back atmosphere and uniquely quirky vibe. As a popular dining destination, Red Robin is famous for its fresh, flavorful burgers and world-famous steak fries. The company prides itself on creating an environment filled with unbridled energy, magnetic personalities, and a passion for hospitality that goes beyond just serving food. Red Robin is committed to fostering a sense of belonging among its team members and guests alike, valuing diversity and encouraging everyone to bring their unique selves to work. With a mission to make food fresh, fun, memorable, and to create smiles, Red Robin offers not only a vibrant place to dine but also great career growth opportunities for its employees, many of whom have risen from hourly team members to managerial positions over time. Red Robin embraces flexibility and inclusivity, making it a top choice for anyone looking to join a friendly and dynamic restaurant team.
The Server role at Red Robin involves much more than just taking orders. Servers utilize handheld technology to efficiently and accurately take guests' food and drink orders, ensuring timely delivery of meals and beverages. The position is part of the Front of House service team, where excellent customer service skills are essential for creating a fun and satisfying dining experience. Servers are responsible for engaging with guests in a way that aligns with Red Robin's commitment to unbridled hospitality and memorable service. This position is offered at a base pay rate of $16.30 per hour, plus tips, providing solid earning potential for hardworking team members. Servers also enjoy flexible work schedules and receive a significant discount on food purchases—50 percent for themselves and 25 percent for their family members.
Additional benefits include referral bonuses for recruiting new team members, eligibility for an Employee Stock Purchase Program after one year of service working 20 or more hours per week, and comprehensive health insurance options covering health, vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity. There is also a 401k retirement plan with a company match up to 4 percent of pay, accessible to employees over 21 years old after one year of service and completing 1,000 or more hours per year. Paid time off is offered at the rate of 0.0192 hours accrued for every hour worked after one year of service with 35+ hours worked per week. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply, and Red Robin welcomes applications on an ongoing basis.
Joining Red Robin as a Server means becoming part of a team that values connection, fun, and generosity. The company’s approach is designed to help team members grow both personally and professionally within a supportive environment. If you have a passion for hospitality and want to build a rewarding career in a welcoming and fun restaurant atmosphere, Red Robin offers an ideal workplace that encourages both individual success and a collective spirit of hospitality.
