Job Requirements

  • Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90 percent or better
  • experience with payment processing and basic math skills

  • knowledge of workplace safety procedures
  • passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and teamwork
  • ability to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, continuously bend, reach and twist
  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet guests, creating a welcoming guest experience
  • maintain complete knowledge of restaurant's food and beverage preparation
  • sell alcohol and food items
  • share menu knowledge by making menu recommendations and answering questions about food allergies and ingredients
  • enter and complete customers' orders on computer system
  • accept different types of payment and make change
  • actively listen with a friendly demeanor during guest interactions to anticipate needs
  • deliver food and drinks with speed and a sense of urgency
  • fill and refill beverages, clear tables, and manage multiple tables
  • check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
  • dedication to becoming a 'seller' and not an 'order taker'
  • demonstrate ownership of sidework and closing tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • clear and reset tables as needed
  • follow instructions, procedures, and alcohol service guidelines
  • report to work in a neat and clean uniform
  • maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy
  • guide guests in beer and spirit selections while demonstrating strong wine knowledge
  • perform other duties as directed
