Job Description

The hiring establishment is a casino and gaming venue located in California that prides itself on delivering exceptional entertainment and hospitality to its guests. This company is recognized for combining thrilling gaming experiences with superior dining services, creating an environment where patrons can enjoy both excitement and comfort. Known for its commitment to safety, responsible beverage service, and adherence to local regulations including the California Health and Safety Code, this venue ensures that its operations meet the highest standards. Employees are empowered with thorough training and resources to support not only customer satisfaction but also compliance with gaming license requirements and public safety protocols.

The role of Server within this casino environment is pivotal to maintaining the seamless integration of food and beverage services with guest entertainment. As a Server, the individual will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, taking and delivering accurate food and drink orders promptly, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service by checking in frequently with guests to ensure satisfaction and anticipating their needs to promote repeat patronage. Server team members also play a crucial part in upholding safety and hygiene standards as outlined by California Food Handlers guidelines, which ensures the health and well-being of all guests and staff.

In addition to the core serving duties, the Server will work closely with colleagues to maximize teamwork and efficiency across the gaming floor and dining areas. This includes circulating effectively to be available for guest requests and assisting team members to maintain a smooth operation during peak hours. A critical responsibility of this role is strictly monitoring and enforcing the principles of Responsible Beverage Service (RBS), adhering to liquor license regulations and company alcohol policies to promote responsible consumption and maintain the integrity of the casino’s service environment.

The Server is also tasked with identifying and reporting any safety concerns or suspicious behaviors to management, contributing to a secure and welcoming atmosphere. This includes recognizing individuals who may be underage, intoxicated, or whose conduct could threaten operational safety. Employees are expected to maintain continued professional development, such as attending mandatory anti-money laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training annually, supporting compliance with gaming laws and regulatory standards.

This position demands the ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and perform physical tasks such as lifting items up to 50 pounds, reflecting the active nature of the role. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities are essential to thrive in this customer-facing position. While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, it is not a strict requirement, making this an accessible opportunity for candidates with relevant hospitality experience or training. The role also requires obtaining and maintaining a valid gaming license as per city guidelines, which involves passing thorough background checks.

Overall, this Server position offers a dynamic work environment within a reputable casino company that values guest experience, safety, and regulatory adherence. A successful candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality service that aligns with the company’s values and operational standards.
