Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or food service helpful
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physically able to stand and lift during shifts
- Basic math skills required
- Willingness to learn and follow restaurant policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Possess verbal and language skills to communicate with guests
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to handle money
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to lift and maneuver plates and supplies up to 10 lbs
- Available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- Inform guests of specials and feature items
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
- Take and enter food and beverage orders
- Deliver food and beverages promptly
- Run food orders from the pick-up window
- Perform side work at shift start and end
- Maintain clean service areas
- Monitor guest dining experience and respond to requests
- Prepare and present bills
- Clean and reset tables and chairs
- Assist fellow servers as needed
- Thank guests and invite them to return
