Currently, Fogo de Chao is hiring for the role of Server / Waiter / Waitress. This role is vital in delivering the warm hospitality and exceptional service that define the brand. Servers at Fogo de Chao not only bring a friendly and welcoming presence but also provide guests with detailed knowledge of the menu and the unique method of meat preparation and service. This role demands a high level of customer interaction, attention to detail, and teamwork to maintain the seamless flow of service.

The Server / Waiter / Waitress position involves greeting guests with a smile and friendly verbal greeting, assisting with seating by pulling out chairs and placing napkins, and guiding guests through the menu. Servers must be knowledgeable about menu items and cooking methods to answer guest questions confidently. Additionally, this role requires taking beverage and dessert orders, communicating special meat requests to the churrasqueiros (grill chefs), and placing orders for payment processing. Teamwork is essential, as servers are expected to support one another during their shifts to provide a smooth dining experience.

The position requires the physical ability to stand for long periods, work at a fast pace, and transport items weighing up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential, as this aligns with peak restaurant hours. Fogo de Chao offers medical, dental, and vision insurance to full-time hourly team members, with coverage beginning the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additional benefits include company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and a voluntary benefits package covering critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident coverage, permanent life insurance, and pet insurance.

Part-time team members are eligible for a Minimum Essential Coverage health plan along with dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance.
