The Server position at Willie's Grill and Icehouse is crucial in delivering the "Guest First" service philosophy. Servers are responsible for engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring accurate and timely order processing, and facilitating smooth communication between guests and other team members. This role requires thorough knowledge of the menu and the ability to make recommendations and answer any questions regarding food, beverages, and restaurant services. Servers must be vigilant to accommodate guests with allergies properly and follow all alcohol service guidelines to promote responsible drinking and guest safety.

The responsibilities go beyond taking orders and serving food; servers are also tasked with monitoring guest satisfaction, pre-bussing tables, preparing final bills, and efficiently handling payments. Cooperation with bartenders, other servers, and the back-of-house team is essential to provide a cohesive and high-quality dining experience. Job Duties

  • Know and follow posted schedule and strict adherence to posted clock in/out times

  • take and confirm food and beverage orders and correctly enter into the point-of-sale system
  • follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent guest intoxication and notify management as needed
  • deliver food and beverages to guests
  • assist other bartenders and servers in cooperative service
  • monitor and observe guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction
  • pre-bus tables and respond promptly and courteously to requests
  • prepare final bill, present check, accept payment and process transactions
  • thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
  • participate in clearing and resetting tables
  • assist other servers, BOH team, and counter/bartenders as needed
  • perform all assigned side work and cleaning duties
  • carry out other duties as assigned by management
  • attend all company meetings and training seminars as required
  • perform duties in compliance with company's employee handbook and performance standards
  • keep immediate supervisor informed of guest service issues and take corrective action
  • treat all guests, team members, and managers with respect and courtesy
  • maintain a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • portray a favorable image of the restaurant at all times
  • perform related tasks assigned by restaurant management
